Discover where the wonder of childhood unfolds with Playgroup. Designed for girls and boys aged 18 months to 4 years, our program offers an immersive experience like no other. 2024 sessions are fully booked. Please check back in late January for 2025 sessions.

Each session is filled with fun and learning, where children and families come together to build new friendships. From the rhythmic beats of music and movement to the joy of play, and the enchantment of storytelling, sessions are filled with exciting opportunities for discovery and growth.

Guest Speakers

Throughout the year, we invite a variety of special guests to partake in our sessions. These range from child psychologists to music teachers, sports coaches, and librarians. All experts in their field, provide valuable insights and experiences designed to benefit both you and your child.

Meet our ELC Playgroup Educators

Our sessions are led by Mentone Girls’ Grammar ELC Director, Ms Bree Phelan, who has over 20 years’ experience nurturing young minds, Ms Phelan brings expertise and fun to every session. She is passionate about cultivating an environment where children can come together to socialise, play and start to build some of the fundamental skills for life-long learning.

Throughout the year, our specialist teachers will join in our ELC Playgroup sessions to share the joys of music, storytelling, and sport with the children.

Session Days

Sessions are free and held during school terms on Friday mornings between 9.30am - 11.00am.
