Dream Big

Our ELC is assessed and rated as Exceeding National Quality Standards by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority.

Guided by the  Reggio Emilia Approach®, the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and the national Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), we recognise our students as capable and resourceful learners.

We believe young children learn best through a balanced approach that combines play, inquiry, and intentional teaching. By fostering their sense of identity, connection to the community, wellbeing, confidence, and communication skills, we support each child's potential and growth.

Our goal is to nurture each child's potential by supporting their growth in identity, community connection, wellbeing, confidence as learners, and communication skills.

Our goal is to inspire our youngest learners to develop the confidence and capabilities to contribute meaningfully to the world around them—and to dream BIG.

Ms Bree Phelan

Children learn best through relationships—with each other, their families, educators, themselves and the world around them.

Our team of highly qualified early learning teachers and educators are dedicated to ensuring your daughter feels a strong sense of belonging and is nurtured, inspired and challenged to learn. They understand the unique needs of our youngest learners and help them to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes she will need to flourish now and in her future.

THE PERFECT BLEND

Curriculum

We are committed to ensuring our students have a personalised learning experience. We achieve this through our small class sizes led by qualified Early Childhood Teachers and Co-Educators, with an educator-child ratio of 1:11. In this nurturing environment, our ELC curriculum provides a holistic balance of play-based inquiry and intentional teaching experiences that stimulate our youngest learners' cognitive and physical development, develop their literacy and numeracy skills, and build their emotional and social intelligence.

Leading the Way

Beach Kinder

Our prime beachside location gives our girls the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the local environment through our Beach Kinder Program.

Students explore the Mentone Beach foreshore, allowing them to develop an awareness of local and indigenous culture, the interdependence of living things and the impact of human choice in respect to the environment.

The opportunities to engage in nature and sensory play during Beach Kinder provides our youngest learners a myriad of physical, social and wellbeing benefits, and fosters their independence, healthy risk-taking and problem solving skills.

“I love reading books with my friends. Mr Owen reads us a story at the Library. We play fun games and do drawing. I love climbing outside and my teachers help me with the Lego.” - Neve, Pre-Prep
