It's been a historic past fortnight with our inaugural GSV Division 1 Premiership.
Our Senior Diving team took out the prestigious Division 1 title, tied with MLC, at the Championship carnival held at MSAC. This is a significant milestone for the School, being the first Division 1 title that we have achieved in the 23-year history of GSV sport.
The Swimming team also competed strongly coming 7th place in Division 1. This is an outstanding result and solidifies us as a Division 1 Swimming School. We also had a number of our swimmers compete at the All Schools Relay Championships last Monday. This was a great opportunity for our students to compete against a number of strong schools from across the state.
This week we have kicked off our Senior Cross Country and Senior Football programs with outstanding numbers. These programs are going from strength to strength and I look forward to exciting seasons ahead.
The GSV Swimming and Diving Finals Evening is fast approaching. We have 29 girls selected to compete at the event to be held on the evening of Tuesday 26th March at MSAC. We wish them the best of luck and look forward to cheering them on!
