Mentone Girls' Grammar's annual production is a captivating highlight on the School’s calendar. Students from Year 7 to Year 12 are invited to audition for cast roles, join the band, assist backstage, or take on supporting production responsibilities such as direction, choreography, sound, lighting, make-up, and costume.
By engaging in production, students can foster and bolster their creative, collaborative, and communication skills.
The elective Theatre Studies curriculum pathway caters for those students who prefer to explore the world of straight plays. The Theatre Studies curriculum pathway allows students to dive deeper into the world of theatre making and explore theatres many facets.
All students from Year 7 to Year 12 participate in our annual House Dance competition. Students are divided into our four House colours - Grammar House (Red), St. Margaret's House (Gold), McCowan House (Green) and Kent House (Blue).
This fun-filled event, showcases the students' choreographic skills and earns points for their respective House. It promotes healthy competition but also fosters leadership, teamwork, and resilience.
