Ms Hanlon joined Mentone Girls’ Grammar at the beginning of 2018 as Head of English, where she was responsible for ensuring excellence and fostering a love of learning at every level.
Ms Hanlon was promoted into the role of Head of Teaching and Learning in 2021 and leads the Curriculum Committee, comprised of the Heads of Departments whose job it is to oversee the academic program across all subject areas and disciplines in the Senior School.
Ms Hanlon is a passionate advocate for life-long learning and believes in the transformative power of education as a means of empowering students to think critically, appreciate diversity and further develop empathy.
