Mentone Girls’ Grammar is seeking to appoint a highly experienced and motivated Risk and Compliance Manager.
The Risk and Compliance Manager will be responsible for the overall design, implementation, maintenance and review of the School’s risk and compliance framework, processes and systems including the leadership of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) within the School. This role will ensure that best practice policies and procedures create and support a positive risk management and compliance culture, and ensure the School’s regulatory, legal and operational obligations are met.
The Risk and Compliance Manager will work in conjunction with the Director of Business Operations and provides specialist advice to the Principal, School Council, Senior Management Team and Human Resources to coordinate the creation, review and implementation of policies and procedures that regulate the School.
As the heart of this role will be a professional with strong expertise for risk and compliance matters and the ability to provide appropriate advice and reporting to ensure that requirements are understood, obligations are met, and performance is clear. The successful candidate will have a natural rapport with staff and students and demonstrate a mature approach with an empathy towards the needs of key School stakeholders.
This position is being offered as a part time (FTE 0.80) role. Previous experience in an educational setting will be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will be available to commence in Term 3, 2024.
